Let's face it - how many times have you not seen this on your Joomla web site when you are all about done, you notice that the home page title says "Welcome to the Frontpage" and not being able to find where to change this text?
Well here is the quick fix this (Joomla 1.0x) and it is really quick to do.
All you need to do is:
- Log into the Administrator section.
- Click on top menu - then on the submenu 'Menu', this will bring up the full menu.
Click for a larger image - Look at TOP listed menu item, it should be named "Home" and the style should be Component - Front Page Module".
- Click on "Home" and This should bring up the Edit Menu Item - Component [Fronpage]
- On the right side side you will find a form element called Page Title and the text in the box will say "Welcome to the front page" (See image above (cick image for larger version))
- Change that default text to whatever you would like it to be, a quick SHORT one line ad for your website.
Save and Enoy!
