You have seen it, or something very much like it at the Apple site (Apple/Mac); it is a slideshow that allows you to set breakpoints to the slider which makes it easy to group up to 25 images into separate sections.

You can either set the breakpoints evenly or weighted, do you have more widgets than gadgets to display, set the breakpoints accordingly.
