Joomla Views

As our regular readers have noticed and commented to us (Thank you for all the kind remarks); we have re-launched Joomla Views with a brand new look and we also moved from Joomla 1.0 to 1.5 at the same time.

This re-launch has been going on for the last couple of weeks to tweak things further and extensions have been added and upgraded at the same time; and now it looks like all that hard work has come to fruition and we can once again concentrate on adding content, articles and news.

The upgrade from 1.0 to 1.5 was not entirely painless as we changed article IDs, changed Sections and Categories around and all of this made our friends the Search Engines (most notably Google) a little bit confused which has caused us to lose some traffic in the last few weeks but we are re-gaining lost territory as we speak and 301 Redirects have been added to our most popular articles and sections to minimize the hassle to our valued visitors.

We have added a less formal, quick update Joomla blog in addition to the fullblown articles that you have grown accustomed  to when visiting Joomla Views and an even less formal update will be done via Joomla News @ Twitter; come and follow us.

We have also added and upgraded some nice features and extensions such as:

• SEO Patch Extended 1.5  and Cache Extended from JoomlAtWork
