This is one of the first templates to use Text / Image header options.

JoomlArt's latest template JA Edenite does the corporate look but looks really bland, and it does not include the usual extras that JoomlArt tend to include but rather, everything seem to be scaled back on this template.

UPDATE: I erroneously said that the slideshow is not clickable, this is wrong!  It does allow you to make each slide linkable to another URL. (Thanks to Tom (tcraw1010) for pointing this out)

There is a slideshow on the front page which fades between images nicely and IT DOES offer each slide to be linkable.

It offers a frontpage slideshow that would be ok if it was just clickable, what is the point of wasting a large portion of the front page on fading images that are not interactive in anyway?

It does offer what seems to becomming a standard on both JoomlArt and RocketTheme templates, the option to use an image logo or a text logo with a slogan, they certainly get extra points for that.

There really is not a lot to be saying for this template, it has potential but sadly enough, it actually does what it promises, it is a corporate template and they tend to be quite boring.

I have been mentioning that JoomlArt is refusing to add a header-banner, and infact this template does not even include a banner module position but I cannot complain about that since a professional corporate or company web site is not supposed to have any advertising on it as it looks tacky.

Verdict

This is a very bland template, suitable for its purpose, the slideshow does offer a nice fading between images and is linkable on a per slide basis.

Again, the image or text logo/slogan is a nice function and I hope it becomes a standard from now on.

JA Edenite also comes with 4 menu options: JA Split menu, JA Moo menu, JA CSS menu and JA Dropline menu; and as expected it offers XHTML transitional, css validates true and it sports 508 accessibility and cross browser support.
